Half Moon Blue Hotel Scarborough, Scarborough

I stayed at the hotel which has a charming 70's era design with a view. The rooms were spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the bay, and they had fridges for convenience. However, the shower head wasn't pleasant and there was some black mold in the bathroom. The location was great, offering a good vantage point of the city and the ocean, and it was near enough to attractions while still being relaxing. The dining experience was average, but the staff was friendly and courteous. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.

The hotel offers a huge room that needs refurbishment but comes with a breeze-kissed veranda, although it was very dark. The service was friendly at the reception but not always efficient. The location was near enough to the city to be convenient yet far enough to feel relaxed. The dining experience had limited breakfast options, but there were vegetarian dishes available.

The 4-poster bed with a mosquito net was cozy, and the shower was spacious with abundant hot water, blending modern comforts with traditional charm. The ambiance of the Caribbean shone through. However, the proximity of the Blue Rooms to the reception might have been a bit noisy at times.

The service was exceptional, with friendly staff always ready to assist. The location was in the peaceful area of Bacolet, offering a lovely view. The dining experience was delightful, with a variety of dishes every day. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a fantastic stay.
